He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Barthle and Mary (Blommel); and his wife Patricia A. Barthle. He is survived by: his sisters, Antoinette Legere and Elizabeth Guertin; and his children, Jeff Barthle (Martha), Kathy Holland (Cal), Jerry Barthle (Debbie), Mike Barthle, Patrick Barthle (Julie), Michelle Collins (Tim), Andrew Barthle (Laura), William Barthle (Sharon) and Suzanne Pittman (Sidney). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Catholic Charities.
