He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Hackett and Ophelia Hackett of Bradford; his children, Dickie C. Hackett and Carol Ann McGarry; his granddaughter Amy Johnson; his children, Bradley "Chip" Griesbaum and Debbie Marrotto (David); and his grandson Michael Johnson (Jodie).
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his sister Betty Schick (Lige); and his children, Robin Hackett, Michelle Greene (Rodney), PJ McGarry (Lori), Jim McGarry and Billie Jo Wheeler. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
