He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Palmer and Henrietta "Tiny" Palmer; and his daughter Heather Palmer Williams. He is survived by: his children, Michael Everett Palmer, Jr. of Crescent City and Mary Kathryn Cowart (Travis) of Pierson; his siblings, Tom Palmer (Carolyn) of Monticello, Kentucky, Clint Palmer (Vickie) of Satsuma, Billy Palmer (Lana) of Shelbyville, Tennessee and Helen Neely of Murphysboro, Tennessee; his grandsons, McKinley Cowart and Sean Williams; and his great grandchild Zack Williams.
