She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kottwitz and Arlene Kottwitz; her brothers, Harold and Walter Kottwitz; her son Paul Pfeiffer, Jr.; and her husbands, Paul Pfeiffer, Sr., John McNamara, Fred Preiss and Richard Carter.

She is survived by: her grandson Paul Pfeiffer, III; her daughter-in-law Catherine Pfeiffer; her nieces and nephews, Melvin Kottwitz (Valerie), Philip Kottwitz (Pam), Mark Brimer (Leslie), Jan Leppert, Lori Kottwitz and Pam Tipton; her great-nephew Gregory Tipton, II; and her great-niece Brandi Kesel.
