He was predeceased by: his parents, Kelly Loyd and Peggy Loyd (Robinson). He is survived by: his wife Mara Gail Woosley; his son Derek Ryan Richardson (Morgan) of Clarksville, TN; his sisters, Melissa West (Wally) of Walterboro, SC and Amy Abrams (Keith) of Lehigh Acres, FL; and his godson Wyatt James Pelton. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
