She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Clyde Darden and Hazel Lereada Campbell Darden; and her husband Boyd Thomas Vorhees. She is survived by: her son Craig Davis (Robin Davis); her stepdaughters, Cindy Vorhees and Ann Meese; her grandchildren, Cody Davis, Colton Davis, Brylee Davis, Olivia Fabelo, Brittany Terry, Austin Reeves, Andrew Georgoudiou, Stephanie Meese and Crissy Raines; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Terry, Penelope Terry, Heather Raines and Ethan Raines; her stepsister Bobbie Tribble; and her cousins, Francis Campbell Martin and Vera KeenWeeks.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Joanne Vorhees Scholarship Fund that had been setup in tribute to Joanne's lifelong dedication for the Hendry and Glades County residents.
