He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia King (Sullivan); his parents, Robert King and Dorothy King; and his brother Robert King. He is survived by: his pet Kensey; his son Mark King; his daughter-in-law Diane King of Clewiston, FL; his grandchildren, Amber Clay (Keith Scoggins) of Warrior, AL, Nina Parson (Keith McMillan) of Parma, OH and Bruce Parson (Barb) of Bradenton, FL; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Clay of Warrior, AL and Amelia Zimmerman of Bradenton, FL; and his sister-in-law Madge King. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
