She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Madison Lee Preacher and Mary Elizabeth Boyd Preacher. She is survived by: her significant other James Hettie; her daughters, Elizabeth Bennett, Christina Bennett Amato (Todd Amato) and Melanie Bennett-Sims, MD (Marcus C. Sims, MD); her grandsons, Brandon Bennett Hodge (Dakota Lathers), Marcus James Sims, Myles Bennett Sims and Thomas Edward Amato; her great grandchildren, Athena Hodge and Hayden Hodge; and her cousins, Priscilla Armstead, Simon Boyd, James Boyd (Laurel), Faye Carter and Sandra Preer (Ronald).
