It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louverne Miles (Chipley, Florida), born in Hartford, Alabama, who passed away on July 24, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph W. Shirah and Carrie B. Shirah (Jones); her son Valery Miles; and her brother Jessie Miles. She is survived by: her children, A. V. Miles, Cecil Joe Miles, David Miles, Valerie Hernandez (Felix) and Victoria Miles; and her sisters, Mary Griffin (Gerald), Gail Jones and Rosa Lee Alexander. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
