She was predeceased by: her parents, Israel Baxter and Bertie Baxter (Snellgrove); her husband Joe Smothers; her daughter Donna Kay Smothers; and her brother James Baxter (Betty).
She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Smothers (Linda) and Dennis Smothers; her grandchildren, Merisha Brock (Buddy), Haley Smothers, Noah Smothers, Chase Smothers and Jordan Smothers; and her great grandchildren, Branson, Harper and Emery.
