He is survived by: his wife Annette Gainer Nelson of Chipley; his daughters, Lisa Hamilton (John) of Marianna and Sandra Kaye Morris (Bryan) of Daphne; his sisters, Mary Ellen Johnson (Jimmy) of Pensacola and Janice Ann Wheeler (Ralph) of Chipley; and his grandchildren, Kyle Patrick Morris and Kayla Nicole Morris.
