He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Cox and Nancy Cox; his wife Margaret Turner Cox; his siblings, Dennis, Bruce, Jim Cox and Shirley; and the mother of his children Joyce Palmer Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Kenny Cox (Darla Fontenot) of Panama City, Jeff Cox (Andrea Langston) of Byron, Debbie Williams (Davey) and Kathy Cox (Don); his grandchildren, Matt Cox (Brittany), Kristy Cox Ford (Cole), Coley Cox, Brenton Cox, Jessica Cox, Bryce Albritton (Alex) and Emma Albritton (Joseph); and his sisters, Ruth and Louise.
