She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammie Garner (Margaret Stewart) and Lester J. Godwin; her son Paul H. Godwin (Gail Godwin); and her siblings, Sammie Garner Jr. and Mary Lou Garner McGrew.
She is survived by: her sons, Lester Lynn Godwin (Judith) of Pensacola, FL and Wayne Godwin of Bratt, FL; and her grandson Matthew Godwin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
