We bid farewell to David I Archer in Cape Coral, Florida, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 28, 2025 at the age of 88. David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irv Archer and Violet Archer; his stepmother Harriett Archer; his sons, Jeff Archer and Steve Archer; his granddaughter Rachael Hedges; and his sister-in-law Linda Archer.
He is survived by: his wife Diane C. Archer; his children, Sherie (Greg Leazier) of Churubusco, IN, Julie (Jack Henline) of Fort Wayne, IN, David Shawn (Cyndi) of New Haven, IN, Kim, Stacy (Jessica Hannie) of New Haven, IN, Rhonda Fort Wayne (Kieth Foreman) and Brian (Heather Hedges) of Bigfork, MT; and his siblings, Bill Archer of Scheverville, IN, Bob Archer (Judy) of Fort Wayne, IN and Nancy Campbell (Mark) of Rock Springs, WY. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fuller Metz Funeral and Cremation Services (3740 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904).
