He is survived by: his wife Wanda Faye Goldsmith-McKinnie; his sons, Randy McKinnie (Shanta) and Randolph Lee McKinnie, Jr.; his father Shira McKinnie, Sr.; his siblings, Jelterow McKinnie, Sr., Johnny M. McKinnie (Earline), Christine McKinnie-Daniels (Selma), Shira McKinnie, Jr. (Christine), Matthew C. C. McKinnie, Sr. (Doris), Willis F. McKinnie, Sr. (Deborah), Adrienne McKinnie, Alex B. McKinnie (Joyce) and Phillipia S. McKinnie (Allison); and his aunts and uncles, Mary Lois Britt, Cathy Nell Murray, Eleanor Jones, Eloied "Odell" McKinnie, Mancefield Hitchmon, John Hitchmon, Majid "Benny" Shabazz (Kitty) and Rev. William Harvey. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other close relatives and friends.
