He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Dixon, Sr. and Anne Lou Owens. He is survived by: his wife Elease Dixon; and his children, Wayne, Earnest III, Donna, Danette, Lisa, Frank, Nikki, Sophia, Jermaine and Wanda. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
