He is survived by: his wife Martha Vila; his children, Hector Vila Jr (Claire) and Desiree Vila Nelson (David K. Sr); his grandchildren, Jonathan Vila (Nicola), Carmen Beavers (Jonathan), Valerie Obesso (Daniel), David K. Nelson Jr. (Brooke), Daniel Hector Nelson (Sarah) and McKenzie Nelson (Jimmy Rush); his great grandchildren, Ben, Sam, Vivian, Jude, Eloise, Elena, Amelia, Bonnie Claire, Taylor, Beau, Owen, Camille and Caleb; and his siblings, Denio Vila (Elvira), Tony Vila (late Nancy), Giselda Guggino (Vincent) and Ramona Coffield (Wayne).
