She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Robert Matthews, Sr.; and her son Marty Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Charles R. Matthews, Jr. (Tammy), Betty Byrd (Johnny), Joyce Pringle (Everett) and Donna Diedolf (Robert); her siblings, Julian Woodle, Ronald Woodle, Nobie McElveen, Helen Warr and Thelma Williams; her grandchildren, Christie Knowles (Tim), John Byrd (Ashley), Brad Pringle (Madison), Charles R. Matthews III (Jeanean), Mandy Strayer (Jason), Bobby Diedolf (Emily), Ian Schneider and Cara Matthews; and her great grandchildren, Kayla Knowles, Ashley Matthews, Taylor Strayer, Leyton Byrd, Haley Pringle, Dalton Diedolf, Chase Pringle, Grace Strayer, Kelson Byrd, Kaitley Diedolf and Gracie Milton.
