He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Zwiers and Arlyne Zwiers; his sister Linda Paterson; his niece Lisa Paterson; his in-laws, Laverne and Lavina Zoerhoff; and his nephew John Zoerhoff.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Zwiers; his children, Sara (Zeke Hampton) and Scott (Heather Zwiers); his grandchildren, Addison and Connor Zwiers; his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Jane Zwiers.
