He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Lambert and Mavis Lambert; and his siblings, Leon, Bobby, Kenny, Billy, Joyce and Susie.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Lambert of North Carolina; his daughters, Dorothy Lynn Lambert of North Carolina and Melissa Ann Poplin of North Carolina; his stepson Danny C. Liles of North Carolina; and his sisters, Linda Scherrer of Virginia and Donna Mareno of Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
