She was predeceased by: her husband Perry Kite; her son Michael D. Kirkland; her brother Billy Jo Kirkland; and her granddaughters, Kimberley Baggs and Shannon Wilkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Mitchy Wilkinson, Shane Kite, Penny Baggs (Danny), Glenda Peebly and Maurica Heisler (Jamie); and her siblings, James Kirkland (Linda), Jerry Kirkland (Beverly) and Alvalene Bicknell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
