He was predeceased by: his sons, Darrell Maxwell and Terrell Maxwell; and his siblings, Albert Maxwell, Wilma Huff and Latrelle Needham.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Maxwell of Bartow; his children, Robert E. Maxwell Jr. of Bartow, Cynthia Butler (Jerry) of Bartow and Susan Duncan of Homeland; his grandchildren, Shelly Duncan (Scott) of St. Petersburg, Stacy Allen (John) of Tampa, David Duncan of Lakeland, Scott Duncan of Homeland, Angela Lewis of Chardon, OH, Andrew Lewis of Bartow and Robert E. Maxwell III of Bartow; and his great grandchildren, Leland Cordosi and Levon Allen. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
