He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo White Wetherington; his parents, Opal L. Garrett and JB Wetherington (Renee Wetherington); and his son-in-law Roy Dan Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Pam Perdue Mitchell, Joy Watson, Maria Wetherington Braxton (Leon) and Kenny Wetherington; his grandchildren, Angie Cook (Brendon), Roy Perdue (Leslie), Jennifer Edmund (Chad), Curtis Watson, Faith and Briley Wetherington; and his great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Curtis, Jr..
