She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Smith and Jane Smith; her daughters, Sheila Losh and Veronica Kane (Matt); and her grandchildren, Natalie Phillips (Steve), Matthew Kane (Amy), Tyler Kane (Melissa) and Ryan Losh. She was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF.org) in her honor.
