It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack James Jr. (Bartow, Florida), who passed away on March 6, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Pettus and Elizabeth Oates James; and his brother Samuel James. He is survived by: his wife Bet Trask James; his children, Jack "JP" James, III (Janet Elliotte), John James (Linda Pipping) and Evelyn Greear (Will Greear); his sister Martha Lee Gibbons of Tampa; and his grandchildren, Jack James, Andy James, Beverly Greear, Jay Greear, Betty Greear and Elizabeth James.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
