She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harvey Morris and Mercia Morris; her children, Tina Downing and Nicky Hooks; her sister Margaret McNeely (James); and her grandchildren, Ciara Downing, Joshua Downing, Nathan Downing, Tera Downing, Katlyn Hunter, Brian Hunter and William Hunter, III. She was also cherished by nine great grandchildren.
