He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wade "Hamp" Thomas and Eva Esther (Sikes); his wife Laverne Moore; his children, Deborah Ann and Daniel Owen (Misty); his sister Dorothy McPherarson (Laverne); his daughter Debbie (Danny Boyd); his grandchildren, Douglas Allen (Cami), Deanne Lynn (Steve), Kori Lynn and Kacie Grace; and his great grandchildren, Addisyn Kate, Brock Thomas, McKinley Faith, Carrigan Faith, Maislyn Grace, Lanie Hope, Lane Randall, Rylan Kendall, Kensi Suzanne, Theophilus Owen and Zayne Henry.
