She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clarence William and Elnora Ann Darcus (Henson); her husband Bernard Parker; her daughters, Karen Sue Jones of Lawrence County and Lora Lynn Parker of Avon Park, FL.; her granddaughters, Rachel Abel of Bedford and Connie Lynn Kirkman of Salem; her sister Sue Ann Wilhite of Bedford; her daughter Connie Ann Parker; and her siblings, Wilma Wray of Bedford, Wanda Callaway of Florida and William Harry Darcus of Lawrence Co.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the White River Humane Society in Phyllis' honor.
