It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Jean Wells of Avon Park, Florida, born in Stanton, Tennessee, who passed away on June 4, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Ware Williams and Eddie Lee Williams; her siblings, Edward Williams, Charles Williams, Russell Wright, Oscar Wright and Francis Surguine; and her son-in-law Daniel R. Evers.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ray Wells; her children, Scooter Wells (Lorie) of Avon Park, FL and Jeanna Evers of Avon Park, FL; her brother Jerry Williams (Barbara) of Huntsville, AL; her grandchildren, Nola Wright (Chad), Carrie Wells, Colton Brock and Taylor Brock; and her great grandchild Lynlee Wright.
