With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James C. Chestnutt of Avon Park, Florida, born in Sylvester, Georgia, who passed away on February 17, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Clarence and Jeffie Mae Chestnutt (Hinmon); his children, Gail Dixon of Sebring, FL, Jimmy Chestnutt of Avon Park, FL, Johnny Chestnutt (Evelyn) of DeLand, FL and Marty Chestnutt of Sebring, FL; and his sister Barbara McRae (Numerous) of New York. He was also cherished by Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Avenue Baptist Church.
