He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harvey Houpe and Fannie White; his wife Gloria Jean Houpe; his daughter Sherry McMullen; and his stepdaughter Denise Billions.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Donaldson (Devon) of Avon Park; and his stepdaughter Renee Scott-Weiss (Jeff) of Kodak, TN. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
