It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allen Smith Sr. of Avon Park, Florida, born in Fort Myers, Florida, who passed away on August 25, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Smith and Helen Smith; his daughter Lori Smith; and his siblings, Larry Smith, Wanda Rogers, Betty Ward, Shirley Tillman and Sandra Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Smith; his sons, David Smith Jr. of Avon Park, Joshua Smith of Avon Park and Ronald Smith of Trenton; his grandchildren, Holly Redding (James) of Avon Park, Caitlyn Smith of Avon Park, Shelby Reese of Avon Park and Lizabeth Smith of Avon Park; his great grandchildren, Alana, Jaxson Redding, Avery, Everett Price and Sylus Conley; and his siblings, Patty Smith, Philip Smith, Ernie Bryant (Denise), Lorine Roman (Gary) and Lisa Prestridge (J. R.). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
