Shirley Jean Simpson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2024, at the age of 95, Shirley Jean Simpson of Auburndale, Florida, born in Pontiac, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Tharp and Alice Tharp (Mabry); her husband James Simpson; her sons, Greg and Tracy Simpson; her sons-in-law, Bob Vaillancourt and Edward Gorsline; and her grandson Christopher.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Simpson (Marlis), Jimmy Simpson (Robbie), Sharon Gorsline, Brenda Vaillancourt and Kevin Simpson (Paula); her grandchildren, Garth, Jamie Ray, Janell, Nathan, Autumn, Danielle, Brieanne, Brooke, James, Lucas, Chris, Scott, Nancy and Beth; her sister Bonnie Jenkins; and her daughter-in-law Stephanie. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
