It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Thompson of Auburndale, Florida, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elmer Thompson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lee Thompson and Lora Belle Thompson (Beasley); his wife Betty Doris Thompson (Benton); his siblings, Truman Thompson and Arlene Combs; his daughter Charlotte Calhoun; and his grandson Dennis Calhoun.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Davis (Sandy), Lyndon Shayne Pemberton (Dawn), Stacey Thompson, Terri Schonfeld (Alan) and Lorida Morey (Michael); his brothers, Richard Stacey Thompson (Susie) and Marcus Thompson (Janice); and his grandchildren, William Calhoun, Chris Calhoun, Erica Mobley, Nathan Davis, Leah Davis, Jason Davis, Wes Thompson, Moriah Thompson Spratlen, Colten Thompson, Shawn Mansour, Bryan Piccola, Makenzie Schonfeld, Sarah Morey and Heather Morey. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
