He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Collins and Elsie Collins; and his siblings, Lottie (Manuel Bernardo), Ila (H. J. Odom), Estel Collins (Lorene), Marvin Collins, Jessie, Mickey Collins and Daniel "Dan" Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie Collins; his daughters, Cheryl (Danny Mills) of Ft. Ogden and Melissa (Romeo Carrano) of Port Charlotte; his grandchildren, Jason Mills, Jarren Mills, Dakota Pappas (Ryan), Marissa Pitts (David) and Bailee Goodson; his great grandchildren, Kinslynn Pitts and Maddox Pappas; his grandsons, Randy Land and Jason Land (Jessica); his siblings, Donald "Dink" Collins (Gertie), Linda Collins Thompson (Samuel "Sam") and Gary Collins (Barbara); and his sisters-in-law, Nona Ward-Martin and Betty Petty-Collins. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.
