He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Massey and Lila Massey; and his brothers, Don, Raymond and Michael Massey.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Lori (Kurt Steinman), Lisa (Gerald Utter), Michael J. Massey (James Jr.) and Melanie Massey; and his siblings, Ed Massey, Carol Hulberg, John and Clayton Massey. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 8 greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services and interment to be held at a later date in Michigan the family suggest contributions be made to the Parkinson Disease Association or to Tidewell Hospice.
