He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bob and Jesse Otis Abbott; and his siblings, Jackie Abbott, Robert Abbott, Rodney Abbott, Helen Jean Scott, Reggie Davis and Tanie Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Abbott of Alford, FL; his sons, Jesse Alan Abbott (Rebecca) of Cheyanne, Wyoming and Samuel Otis Abbott (Sarah) of Cheyanne, Wyoming; and his siblings, Billy Joe Abbott of Chipley, FL, Linda Tice, Ginger Renfer of Pennsylvania and Dianne Carlisle of Louisiana. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
