He was predeceased by: his daughter Christina "Tina" Pierce; and his grandson Matthew Pierce. He is survived by: his sons, Frank Borus (Miriam Caraballo), Fredrick Pierce, John Pierce (Lucy Pierce) and James Pierce; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Aubrey, Brayden, John Jr., Abigail, Thomas and Ashley. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
