He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Holden and Elizabeth Mercer (Kockenderfer); and his brothers, William and Harry. He is survived by: his wife Su Mercer; his siblings, Atlee, Ronald and Kathryn; his sons, Robert (Rebecca), Sam (Tania) and Allen (Sharon); and his grandchildren, Robert James, Anna Elizabeth, Matthew, Scarlett, Benjamin, Elianna, Kira and Ziva.
