She is survived by: her children, Vernetta (Yasminah), Brenecia and Leonard; her grandchildren, Zarifa Kenyatta (Harold), James, Yatisa and Leonard; and her nephew Derrick. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren 3 great-great grandchildren.
