It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce McCurdy of Selbyville, Delaware, who passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce McCurdy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parent Maxane Bernard McCurdy; and his brother Wayne Coster McCurdy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Heilman; his children, Brian David Picker (Ginger), Sean Joseph McCurdy (Ashley) and Lindsey May Connor (Nick); and his brothers, Mark Disbrow McCurdy and Gary Warren McCurdy. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
Due to Covid19 concerns, the funeral will be private (available to watch via Facebook livestream: http://www.facebook.com), but family and friends are invited to a celebration of life to be held on Monday at 1pm at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (4225 VFW Lane, Ellicott City, MD 21043).
**In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Chesapeake Conservancy to honor Bruce's love of boating, bird watching, and eating oysters.
