It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Butterly Jr. (Rehoboth Beach, Delaware), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on August 12, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas J. Butterly and Martha Butterly (Sharpless-Brown); his wife Lois Butterly (Savage); and his sisters, Muriel Bowyer (Ling) and Martha Jovell (Butterly).
He is survived by: his children, Thomas T. Butterly (JoAnne) and Beth A. Garvilla (Michael); his grandchildren, Stacey Delk (Ryan), Julie Garvilla, Elizabeth Butterly, Alexandra Butterly and Joseph Garvilla (Andrea); his great grandchild Madison; and also, Virginia Caras (Savage) and Thurman "Skip" Savage.
