He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Jackson Waple and Ida Marie Waple (Van Ryswick); his wife Nancy; his children, William Braxton Waple and Anne DeNitto; his children-in-law, Monroe Whitton and Candace Waple; his granddaughter Elizabeth DeNitto; and his sister Susie Bell O'Hazza.
He is survived by: his children, Marshall Jackson Waple III, Joseph V. Waple (Bristow), James R. Waple (Angela) and Linda Whitton; and his daughter-in-law Pamela S. Waple. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren; his 6 great-grandchildren.
