He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Bamberger and Hattie Mae Bamberger (Henry); and his former wife Helen E. Bamberger (Ebur). He is survived by: his wife Saundra M. Bamberger (Lewandroski); his sons, Barrett (Teresa) of Cincinnati, OH, Bradford of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Stephen (Pamela) of Hampstead, MD; his grandchildren, Amanda Sipe (Andrew), Samantha Bamberger, Aaron Bamberger and Abigail Bamberger; his stepsons, Mark Sowder (Teresa) of Towson, MD and Leonard Sowder of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and his stepgrandchildren, Jack Sowder and Emily Sowder.

His request was that memorial contributions be made to the Lutheran Church of Our Savior Women's Group, Sand Dollars, 20276 Bay Vista Rd., Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971 and/or Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
