She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara B. Ellis (Emmerson) and Elmer W. Ellis; her husband Samuel B. Veazey; her son Samuel E. Veazey; and her siblings, Jack, Harry, Billy, Sonny, Kenneth Ellis, Virginia Spicer, Jen Bright and Audy Bright.
She is survived by: her sons, James R. Beckett, Jr. of San Francisco, CA, Joseph J. Beckett (Kristen) of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Donald B. Veazey (Gina); her granddaughters, Michelle Beckett-El Soloh of Greenbackville, VA and Sherry L. French (Albert) of Millsboro, DE; and her great grandchild Blair A. Hill. She is also survived by her sisters, and many of her friends.
The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to both Brandywine Senior Living and Vitas Healthcare for their dedicated care, guidance, love, and support throughout Alberta's battle with Alzheimer's.
