He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ann McManus (Pratt); his sons, Brian McManus (Carolyn) of Ocean View, DE and David McManus (Laura) of Jarrettsville, MD; his parents, Helen Sturgis and Talbot "Stu" Sturgis of Windsor Locks, CT; his grandchildren, David Brian McManus, Alyssa McManus, Derek McManus, Kierstyn McManus and Sierra McManus; and his siblings, Bobby Sturgis (Donna) of Windsor Locks, CT, Judy Harmon (Wayne) of Ocala, FL, Nancy Schickler of Vergennes, VT, Sharon Newberg (Dick) of Ocala, FL and Janice Chapman (Len) of Windsor, CT. He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration honoring Don's life will be held at a future date.
