She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vaughn and Mamie Vaughn; her husband Cecil E. Ashby; her daughter Deborah Vardoulakis; and her siblings, James Vaughn, Billy Vaughn, Ronald Vaughn, Walter Vaughn and Norma Porter.
She is survived by: her stepsons, Gary Ashby, Michael Ashby and Edward Ashby; and her sister Bonnie Potter.
