With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond C. Richard of Millsboro, Delaware, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Camille Richard and Suzanne Johnson Richard. He is survived by: his wife Doris A. Richard of Millsboro, DE; his children, Debbie Pritchard of Laurel, MD, Dean Richard (Melanie) of Sparks, NV and Mark Richard (Regina) of Huntington, MD.; his grandchildren, Bryanna Richard, Carissa Pearson (Calon), Paige Pritchard, Drew Pritchard (Katelin), Mark Richard, Jr. and Jason Richard; and his great grandchildren, Sterling Pearson and Everett Pearson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Mr. Richard's memory to the Delaware Veterans Home, 100 Delaware Veterans Blvd, Milford, DE 19963.

“The Shore Senior Pool League remembers Ray as a player, an opponent of remarkable decency and sportsmanship. He is a founding member of the League, respected and loved by all who knew him. His team, the Underdogs, kept him on their roster through the past year even though he was too ill to actually play; a tribute to his comradery and fellowship. The League, in lieu of flowers, has made a contribution in his name to the Indian River Senior Center where he spent so many pleasant hours.”
