He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Burks and Laura Burks; his wife Ruth S. Burks (Whitt); his great grandchild Christopher T. Bacon; and his sister Dolly O'Neal.
He is survived by: his children, Jesse L. Burks Sr. (Janet) and Barbara J. Littleton (Ernest); his grandchildren, Lisa Bacon (Tommy), Jesse L. Burks Jr., Adam Littleton and Lori Littleton (Chris); his great grandchildren, Shelby Bacon, Kennedy, Harper Littleton, Layla and Jayden Taylor; and his siblings, Bill Burks, Everett Burks, Leona Sizemore, Connie Smith, Nyoka Snyder and Patty Hatcher.
