She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Steen and Clara Steen (Elliott); her husband Acie T. Mankins, Jr.; and her siblings, Eleanor Dukes, Helen White and Marvin Steen.
She is survived by: her son Acie L. Mankins (Michele) of Laurel, DE; her grandchildren, Aimee Mankins (Gordon Starr) of Phoenix, AZ, Brooke Mankins (Zachary Hicks) of Kansas City, MO and Amber Bennett (Keith) of Lewes, DE; her great grandchild Reed Bennett of Lewes, DE; and her sister-in-law Mildred Steen of Laurel, DE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mrs. Mankins' memory to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
